What is your favorite Potato Chip?

Pringles are the only "potato chips" I can really stand, probably because they are quite fake and don't have much to do with real potato chips.
Like their salsa, pizza, and salt/vinegar flavors, plenty of others I haven't tried yet.

Lays original. I look for the ones that are heart shaped and give them to my wife. She always smiles when I hand her a heart shaped chip. And before anyone tells us they’re bad for us.....we already know it.

Kettle chips Jalapeño followed closely by Kettle chips salt and pepper.

I don't know why you guys don't have it in the US, but one of my favorites is Lay's Ketchup flavored chips.

For store bought, I love Lay's wavy and salt and pepper ones. But I'm a sucker for homemade ones, if a restaurant has them, then there's a 110% I'm getting some.

Then, choose a good size potato.
Wash it. shake the water.
Cut into thin slices (Am I crazy to not peel it?)
get a pot on the stove. dump 1/2 bottle of oil (Wife does not like that).
get it hot.
start venthood.
dump some slices and some salt. let it brown... golden-brown...
pull out with metal vented paddle onto plate (no more napkins to suck the oil; not enough time).
push the kids away while they are trying to eat them as fast as possible.

P.S. not really the texture of commercial chips, but with plenty of ketchup will do.

Tell that to my kids....
I'm the same opinion as the Wiener family: Ketchup should not belong on any food....
Home made Tomato sauce, on the other hand....
If I have coarse grain salt on the chips that day, I'm happy.

I find I go for the Kettle style extra crispy ones, just salted plain.
What is also good is to slice up some raw potatoes super thin and cook them in the bacon pan after breakfast... Sprinkle a little salt on them and they are good!
