Guys,
I picked up a bunch of 10W40 HM full synthetic oil (both M1 and Castrol) at the AZ clearance a few months ago. My plan was to use it on my son's 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe which specs all KINDS of weights in the owner's manual. I still plan to do that, but I got so much I was thinking about using it on my daughter's 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer with the 4.2L too (even though it specs 5W30). Thoughts? Has anyone had issues running a 40 weight in this engine? Should I be OK? I live in Texas so it never gets too cold.
Thanks in advance...
