National Geographic subscribes to doom & gloom theories of the Earth having XX number of years before oil runs out, Cincinnati becomes a seaport and all sorts of nonsense. They even included a folding map of sea level rise in one magazine.

It's on Netflix. I watched it the other day.

What I found the most disturbing was big money hedge funds coming in California, and buying what ever land that has the longest straw in the water aquifer.

"The first casualty of any war is the truth".

It isn't different with "water wars" (nothing new).

Merely mentioning conservation (of anything) results in name calling.

This planet has gone through monumental changes before man discovered fire. Those changes continue. I am of the thought it isn't for anything little ol' me does or you or all of us. It is just the continuing of what has happened for millennia.

I capture over 10,000 gallons of rainwater a year off of Galvalume roofing.

I don't have a water meter. I'm fine as long as everyone leaves me alone.
