I remember this ad and also remember that XOM gave no answer to it.
XOM either decided to take the high road and ignore the gibe or really had no good answer to this claim.
A good comeback might have been something along the lines of M1 offering 4X better TBN retention than Synpower.
I have a pic of a old round bottle Mobil1 advertisement that’s still up at a gas station around here. Slightly weathered but it’s held up for many years.
Seems like Fram’s marketing strategy was to charge a bit more then through advertising gave the impression that you benefitted greatly by paying more. Very clever.
what in the world makes you think 2009 means old? i have a Purotator filter chart 1967 on the wall in the garage. 20 in X 30. its close to being old. but if you want old we can talk about ME. LOL LOL
