Any rough estimates what an average 9,000 lb. 2-post lift would weigh, sans fluid, etc. broken down for shipping? I'm going to guess <1,500 lb.

I have a 10k 2-post Mohawk. It's been a few years, but I want to say the shipping weight was close to 3k lbs.

Mohawks will weigh much more than the cheaper Eagle or Chinese lifts you can find now. Id say 1500-2k is a safe range, Most of the chinese are rated to hold 9k but wont lift it. Kind of a funny measuring system, same as Harbor frieght jacks.

I have a 10k Worth lift. Great American made heavy grade 2 post lift and it came on a flatbed truck. The driver said the weight was probably somewhere between 2000-2500lbs.

Yes, and most don't like that kind of dishonest marketing
