Nothing really to see here. Filter was run for 8k No crud, ADBV was pliable. I like the centering spring/bypass valve combo in the dome end. Took a photo of the widest pleats, which were at the seam. Replaced with a Purolator Boss.





 
If the Boss uses a base end bypass valve it could be even shorter inside. It's defineately "shorter" in efficiency.
 
Should've used an XG7317, if it will fit

Why? These seem to do well enough.

Smaller filter than I use on my Briggs, though.

The Mazda 6 is a very good car. I had a rental Mazda 6 and enjoyed driving it quite a bit.
