Nothing really to see here. Filter was run for 8k No crud, ADBV was pliable. I like the centering spring/bypass valve combo in the dome end. Took a photo of the widest pleats, which were at the seam. Replaced with a Purolator Boss.

That's one short filter! I thought about using those in place of the XG7317, but they're a LOT smaller!

I would like to see the replacement Purolator Boss, stood-up right next to that short Fram, for a height comparison.

She's the only sister-in-law I have. But she's not my favorite.

If the Boss uses a base end bypass valve it could be even shorter inside. It's defineately "shorter" in efficiency.

Should've used an XG7317, if it will fit smile

Why? These seem to do well enough.

Smaller filter than I use on my Briggs, though.

Ahh ... Fast enough LOL

The Mazda 6 is a very good car. I had a rental Mazda 6 and enjoyed driving it quite a bit.

It's alright.

I don't much care for it.

Took these before throwing it away since someone wanted to see a size comparison between this and the Boss.
