Are the likes of Airaid Synthamax or AEM Dryflow filters a good filter to use vs buying OEM paper filters?

I want nothing to do with oiled filters.

Get a FRAM "Tough Guard" air filter.
I think they are the best compromise of all options.

I have had very mixed luck with aftermarket filters.... (AEM is pretty good)

I have learned over the last 45 years to just stay with the factory replacement or aftermarket replacement air filter. Just doesn't get any better unless you're looking for that .001/sec 1/4 mile!

If you're keeping the factory airbox, just stick to the factory replacement.

Aftermarket intakes, with a cone filter, different story. You have aFe, AEM, etc.
