So I'm going to run this in my Accord. I like the M1 specs. VI 180, zinc and prosperous levels are around 1100 mark, nice for a little more wear protection with vehicle at 118k. I have used PP before but a 0/20 What I cannot find is detailed specs for PP only their typical advertising stuff. The other thing I like is both are ACEA rated. I feel their specs are better than API. Honda UK says to use ACEA A3/B3 or A5/B5. And API SM.

Weights as follows
0/20 best MPG
0/30 0/40
5/40 5/30
10/30 10/40

What objective evidence do you hold that indicates that 1100 ppm ZDDP is necessary for your engine at 118k, or that higher viscosity is necessary to meet your intended lifetime?

FWIW, the last UOA I have of M1 0w40 FS in my wife's BMW showed zinc at 1088 but phosphorus was at 911. Don't let ZDDP be the deciding factor in an oil though, there are newer ways to provide anti wear protection these days.
