Carbon fiber doesn't handle UV too well. The epoxy/urethane resins or the CF itself doesn't like exposure and a plane at cruising altitude will be bombarded with lots of UVA/UVB.

Agree 100%. I'm so sick and tired of all of this, "socially acceptable" nonsense. This all reminds me of the liberals who got cramps over the Washington Redskins. I'm just glad they ignored them. Rather than cave in to all the stupid, politically correct nonsense.
