What is the best filter for a MB GLE350?

I have always trusted WIX but they don't have the fleece media, should I stick with OEM Mann filters

The good news is that German aftermarket parts for German cars....is actually good stuff.

Check rmeuropean.com - they ship from a SSF warehouse. Great prices and great parts. I suggest Mann or Purflux with the fleece media.

In general, stay away from domestic and Asian brand parts for German cars. If you buy from the right places you will be pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive parts are for German cars.

The Mann filter is fairly priced on Rockauto, even cheaper than the Wix filter.

Knecht and (made in Germany) Bosch are other ones that you will come across with OEM quality for the German cars.

Lucky to own such a nice car. I would say it sort of confirms the Boss is the Mann fleece filter.

Actually I see MB went now to Mahle?, not Mann.

Zig-zaggy media is a Purflux thing.

OEM supplier - Mann, Mahle, Hengst or even Bosch/Puro boxed filters. There might be a Mann in there if it's not a jobber grade filter.

The Puro Boss is basically a Mercedes fleece filter in a spin-on can.
