I have an electric motor with a gearbox that calls for Klubersynth UH-1-460

Does anyone know if there’s a more readily available 460 weight oil I can use?

The motor is on a stretch wrapper and is a Baldor. The gearbox is also and has a 40:1 ratio and produces 680 in. lbs or torque from .674hp input.

If fg is not a deal than a high grade iso 460 gear oil cross. Several to choose from. pm me if interested in Schaeffers gear oils.
mineral, semi, straight pao are all available.

I use Schaeffers 131 Neutra, i am sure there are others. drain. Run cheap mineral oil thru with the purging agent. Short cycles.Repeat. Repeat,

Poly and traditional oils will turn to jelly.

repeat and repeat again!

If this is a worm drive reduction box, that oil is so thick (worse than STP) and they are not easy to "flush"

Were it my equipment and not my employer’s I’d buy Schaeffers, but my boss will likely get whatever Grainger sells
