I got a 14oz grease gun a couple years back and it wouldn't stay primed. Today I took it back to warranty it and when I removed the cartridge, it looked like the grease at the end of the cartridge was just dried out and clogged the gun. Is this possible?

The clueless guys at AutoZone were freaking out when I starting taking the cartridge out. They thought the gun was going to release a bunch of pressure as if I was undoing a hydraulic hose under pressure. The guy was like aren't you only supposed to take the cartridge out when it's empty?

you are lucky it dried out ... lol
mine leaked out slowly and made a huge mess all over stuff and the garage ...
I now leave it in a bucket in case it leaks again.

I had to do the same thing with mine a few years ago. This tube is probably 5 years old. It's probably the problem?
