Plastic Panel removal tools

How can you go wrong for that price? I have a kit like that (in orange) that I can't find. Still takes a bit of skill to remove panels. I'm horrible at it.

This kit has a few pieces that are very thin and will slide in between very tight panels. I will give it a try this weekend.

If you don't put them back, you only have to do it once, and the tools used aren't so critical.

Better access, more storage cubby-holes, better ventilation and corrosion resistance, fewer rattles, less weight (ok, only a little), less to damage.

Lots of advantages.

I have the Astro 4524 set, which looks identical to the OP's but in orange, so that probably means I paid too much at $16.49 5 years ago, but they've more than paid for themselves. It's done 2 stereo installs, two BlueTooth adapter installs and a dashcam cable run or two. I see it's down to $13.99 at the moment.

I think that for the pros like a stereo installer, these are tools that have a limited life, so getting the Snappy (or equivalent) is worth it, but for the occasional user, the cheapest are fine. That thing we call "plastic" comes in all kinds and grades, and I'm sure you get what you pay for (unless you fail to do your homework). But at these prices, anyone can splurge at $20 and have the finest. Or still go cheap at $6, and be OK for the occasional job.

The thing that amazes me, is how much money can they make on a $7 price for those tools plus shipping. If we were trying to ship the same package from North America to China, I'm sure it would be a lot more than $7.

Good price and comes in a nice carry case

If you can postpone it to warmer weather I would. The plastic trim especially if the vehicle is older is prone to cracking when it is cold.
Don't ask how I know this.

I understand China, not necessarily Hong Kong, subsidized shipping/postage making it almost a non-issue for sellers.
