Since I was 11 years old, I have owned a Benjamin Model 137-.177 caliber air pistol. It's been about 5 years since I have shot it. I had my son pull it down from my dads attic last night and decided to see if it still shot. No, it didn't. Even the pump handle will not stay near the tube. When I pull the receiver back it makes a "spring sound" when I pull the trigger.
Does anyone here know of a good air rifle/pistol armorer/gunsmith? Thank You.

Probably needs new seals or lubrication? I had a old pellet rifle way back with leather seals that were dried up. Neatsfoot oil did the trick.

This one has the felt type piston. I added a couple of drops of Crosman lube. It made a difference but not good enough.
