Went into Autozone today and found a rack full of Pennzoil and assorted other brands of 10W-40 and 20W-50 for $2/qt.
They will no longer carry many 10W40 and 20W50 oils. Only carrying some HM oils and such.

It's been going on for around 2 months.

I did buy some to mix with 5w20 oil.

Those are the grades most of us can't or don't use in our daily drivers. They are typically on sale EVERY year. One would think they will eventually figure out to carry less of this stuff in future years.

When you compare the prices of oils at all the Autozone, Oriellys and NAPA to Walmart in joplin, I simply do not see how they sell any. Minimum of a dollar a quart penalty. Used to I would get Wix filters, but now that Fram makes good ones and M1 filters if they are out, there is no reason to go there.

I agree. Synthetic oil change specials are usually a better deal as long as you like the filters. Not a Fram fan, so I go to Walmart for only the oil, if that.
