Thought this was really interesting. The OLED TVs are still pretty pricey. He didn't talk about LED TVs that incorporate "local dimming" (independent control of the back lights zones) and High Dynamic Range (HDR), which help the picture to emulate OLED to some extent over not having local dimming or HDR.

The rate at which this technology is advancing is mind-blowing

I grew up with a black & white 19" CRT that got 3 channels: NBC, CBS and PBS

$2000 from online retailer Beach Camera and then a price protection thru my discover of $500. They run the deal fairly often, you just have to call in to get it.
