Thought this was really interesting. The OLED TVs are still pretty pricey. He didn't talk about LED TVs that incorporate "local dimming" (independent control of the back lights zones) and High Dynamic Range (HDR), which help the picture to emulate OLED to some extent over not having local dimming or HDR.

The price is dropping on OLEDs... we picked one up before BF. 65" LG for $1500 when all said and done.

That's a great price. You cant get a 55" one for this price today, much less a 65" one.

$2000 from online retailer Beach Camera and then a price protection thru my discover of $500. They run the deal fairly often, you just have to call in to get it.
