Spotted this gem at the dealer yesterday, may take it for a test drive. It's roughly 10K less than a similarly equipped Grand Cherokee, which is interesting.

My wife went gaga over it of course

She has eyes for a 2017 R/T in white actually. She misses her V8, LOL.

Have you looked at a Charger SRT yet? I can see if they have a 2018 there and can send you pics like I did the last time?

Not yet. I don't think there were any changes from 2017 to 2018 though.

It's a little blurry. Is that $82k? A Grand Cherokee is $92k?

I do like the dark red leather interior.

OK, and the pics I sent you, I think were from a 2017... You find that interior downscale from this one?

82K Canadian or US? Never been a fan of red interior probably because I spent my childhood in a 1981 Ford LTD with red vinyl interior. Rest of the Durango looks pretty sweet though.

The design of the dashboard and center console on the Charger just looks very dated to me. It has this crude appearance. No refinement.

Durango SRT's interior looks fresher to me, for some reason.

That black robo cop look is getting long in the tooth, never liked it, but hey if she loves it

Fair enough.

That was just God-awful. I remember that on a white car and it was a hideous combo.

It does start to get into kind of crazy money... You could build a garage with lift, buy a good used Vette, ATV, Sled, Miata, zero turn lawnmower, and a 4k TV for your garage. But if you have all that stuff already then a $82k SUV might be just another fun toy.

$82k?!? I could buy two desirable cars for that price. Incredible how expensive stuff like this and fullsize trucks/suvs have become.
