I'm just glad that P20 (20%) is still good for *any* amount that you spend, no minimum that I've come across.

Walmart, Amazon, & Roackauto

Shop among those three and you'll never need to visit AAP again.

And what happens with those three, when you need it in the next 30 minutes?

And what do you do when you have a warranty claim? Rockauto makes you send the part back on your own dime.

They're good for some parts. Got Akebono brake pads from them cheaper than Rockauto or Amazon.

Not always, With speedperks and the available discounts sometime Advance is cheaper. Shipping from RockAuto can sometimes make a deal not so great. I always shop around but tend to use Advance and RockAuto mostly

HCD7BX

30% off, $100 maximum savings (much better than typical $50 max)

Yes. AFAIK none of these AAP discount codes can be used for in-store purchases.

No idea how long this code will be valid. Got it from RetailMeNot.com

I used to do all of my parts shopping at AA. You are right you just cant beat Amazon and Rock Auto.
Im not sure why brick and mortar stores don't try and be a little more competitive.
Example I just purchased KYB strut plus for my daughters Equinox. I found one on Amazon for 58.00
and the other on Rock Auto for 144.00. AA wanted 270.00.
Rock Auto makes you pay shipping but it's very reasonable.

That actually is pretty competitive. AA usually has a code for up to $50 off so assuming that $270 is before a coupon code, that could be $220. Plus KYB has a lifetime warranty and you just go to the store to swap them out. Rockauto plus shipping is probably $160+. So it may be worth the difference to pay $60 extra so you can just go to the store, get it now and be able to go back there when you need a new set instead of having to mail the old set back. I'm not even sure how much that would cost, $20-$30? On Amazon, I'm not even sure how you'd claim a warranty on a 3rd party seller because that price doesn't sound like an Amazon one. Of course if you're just going to dump the car, Amazon would be the way to go.

i always use retailmenot.com and one time i separated it into 2 orders (huge suspension order). also one time the mgr honored the coupon without ordering online since she saw that i was comparing prices on my phone. I like rockauto and have ordered a lot from there, but for small items where the price is within $10 of a store, the shipping kills the deal
