Yep, I've determined MT-90 is cheaper than using 10w-30 in your AX15 manual transmission. Overall it will last longer and save you $$
Here's a video I made on the specifics as to why. https://youtu.be/oOPTCCbRVCg

I know 10w-30 is a popular choice for the AX15, and I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that choice.
I just believe MT-90 is a better choice. Do you agree?
Thanks for the feedback.

The factory manuals call for 75W90 (Viscosity@100C = 14 cSt) gear oil for the AX15 transmission, due to its design.

The Redline MT-90 or the Amsoil MTG are excellent replacement's for MTF's in these medium-duty transmisions. For extreme cold weather operation year round, the Redline MT-85 works well. Both Redline MTF's contain the same MTF additive package.

A 10W30 engine oil does not have the proper additive package as does a dedicated MTF.
