I mistakenly told Blackstone this was 5w30, but it was 5w20 Quaker State Petroleum. Baldwin filter BT 223.

Great vehicle so far, no significant oil loss, though many folks with this 3.8 engine have had issues.

IN: CAM2 Synavex 5w30 Synthetic. Mahle OC338 Filter

1st oil change was Pennzoil Platinum, 2nd change was Alisyn Pro Drive, Third oil change (with the high moly) was Schaeffers 5w30.

I changed the air filter, to a better brand from whatever I had in there before, made sure it was seated correctly, since then, silicon has been better. That 9700 mile run with Alisyn Pro Drive sucked.

I ran 5w-30 in my 08 Wrangler up to 100,000 miles which when I had an LS conversion done. Normally synthetic but I had great wear numbers with PYB 5w-30. It started using more oil as it got more miles. Toward the end about a quart every 2500-3000 miles. I even ran M1 0w-40 for a couple of changes.
