At first I thought I had a flat, but turns out someone donated a Robertson bit to me and it was just hitting the fender. Doesn't seem to have damaged the tire (or the fender, luckily on the beater) just went through a piece of tread. The bit held up surprisingly well, I think I'll keep it.

Lol. Not a bad outcome.

It's always better to get a bit on the edge than get screwed in the middle, where tires are concerned.

That's a new one. I need to tell that one to discount tire.

I was hoping you had literally picked up a hitchhiker. However you damaged your tire in the most canadian way possible!

A Canada only Goodyear Nordic tire too! I'd still buy a set of those if they made them, best snow tire I've ever used, and apparently quite tough!

I can't believe you can tell that from my blurry photography.

I picked up a hitchiker once on the way home from work when I was early 20s...family and friends didn't see me for 3 days.

Another day I picked up a half inch drillbit, and drove 100MPH unwittingly...was a little bit more heartstopping than the first.
