I went to RK today, picked up 4 quarts of their Harvest King Synthetic 0W20 for $2.19 per quart and a Fram PH7317 with the new silicone ADBV for $3.99. Not a bad deal at all for a synthetic oil change for $12.75.

They had Maxlife for $4.99 per quart:

They still had some single quarts of RK synthetic made by Warren for $2.19 per quart:

They had a few quarts of Synpower and the new Valvoline Full Synthetic, either one for $5.99:

They had VWB on sale for $2.99:

RK had good prices on Fram air filters and other car stuff too, but I did not have much time to check everything out. I did not really check their prices on 5 quart jugs, but the ones I did see were in line with the per quart prices. My pics are sideways here, I have no idea why. They are oriented straight in the folder on my laptop. I tried to correct it, never could fix it.

I have yet to try the Harvest King Synthetic. Kind of want to, but I've been putting Valvoline Synthetic in nearly everything I own for so long I guess I'm institutionalized. The 5 quart jugs of H/K synthetic are 9.99 at my store. And conventional is 6.99 a jug. (Well it says syn blend but whatever) Hard to beat that!

I've only been mentioning the price of the Harvest King oil at Rural King for about 4 months now.

Glad it is finally catching on.

The conventional oil (5 quart jug for $6.99... or quarts for $1.59) is labelled as a synthetic blend for the 5w-20 and 5w-30 weights only.

I noticed the Dexos emblems. Very impressive price for a Dexos approved product.

Yes you have man. Seriously, very good job on your part.

Too doggone bad for me..... Nearest Rural King is in Front Royal.. 175 miles away frown
Otherwise, I would buy my oil from RK all the time. Valvoline for a good price, Citgo made Dexos approved oil for a great price, and Havoline DS for a good price too.... Hard to beat that.

Ohh and great job Jimmy9190. You really did a good job with your documentation of the good prices at Rural King.

It is tough for me to get to RK too, there is one 30 miles north of where I live. The RK I went to yesterday is 60 miles south of here in Lake Wales. My wife and I went to visit her mother there and stopped by RK after taking her out for lunch.

Why does BITOG continue to flip everyone's picture on their side don't they have a fix for this yet?

I've never had an issue. I suspect user error.

The newest shipments of the full synthetic are already labelled as being Gen2 approved.

This oil is sourced from Citgo. Cheap, nothing fancy... but it has all of the approvals.

I'm quickly getting tired of paying nearly $25 for 6 quarts of Pennzoil Gold (semi-synthetic), when I can get full synthetic here for nearly half the price.

By the way, the last jug of Pennzoil Gold that I bought said nothing about being 50% synthetic on the label anymore.

Is the pic taken with an iPhone?

There is an issue with how Apple and Windows orient pics (something to do with the internal coding of the image).
