Possible? Yes.
Probable? No.

This specific series of UOAs shows very low (typical of Dmax) Cu, Pb, Al. The Fe can track a bit with severity of use, but generally does not get altered much in the grand scheme.

I'm not sure what userfriendly was really getting at here ... shrug
Was he being generic?
Was he being facetious?
Was he being specific to this UOA?
Seems he like to bump and run.


The act of preventative maintenance, in and of itself, is FAR MORE important than brand/grade/base choices among lubes and filters.
- under maintaining something is akin to abuse/neglect; that can kill equipment by shortening the lifespan
- over maintaining something has never been proven to be anything but a waste of time and money
