I bought a set the last time they were on sale.
The bad: It's pretty horrible as a rotating tool, with big dead spots in the turning, lots of slop and bad feedback.
The good: It's actually functional as a right-angle driver. Just like a pass-through ratchet, I don't need that magic very often, but every once in a while it's exactly the right tool. And it's good as a medium-coarse tooth extending ratchet. Other than the slightly larger head, there isn't any downside to the rotating handle feature if you don't use it.
I don't like splined sockets, since they mangle the plating and surface finish. I've tossed them in the back of the drawer for when I need to hammer one onto a rounded fastener head. But the hex adapter is nice.
