Freaken Rat. Currently reduced to yard duty. The battery is from my last 528e and about a yr old I plug in the 1/2 A floater at least monthly. Cables are clean and tight. When the truck has warmed up for 10 minutes, idle is down to 900RPM. I put a meter across the power port. 15.1 V. A couple hrs, later I checked the battery voltage, 12.67 V. That is nearly a 100% charge. Resting draw is

its cold out, the voltage regulator is temperature compensated to some point. Im not seeing an issue if the rested battery is showing 12.67.

A maintenance charge is always prudent.

^He's right. We get 15V too, but only below freezing and for only a few minutes from a cold start before it scales down to about 14.2V, this is all controlled by the BCM.

13.8 - 14.5 max, More than that constantly and you'll cook the battery. Voltage is pressure and too much forces too much current into the cells. If you rev the engine does the voltage go up? if it does bad regulator.
