I agree. Haven't used them since the mid 90's. The upsell will make up for their low oil change price.

Thankfully, I've never encountered a problem with Firestone oil changes or anything else. Thanks OP, that's a great price. I know a few people that would love to take advantage of it.

I took the Matrix there once for an oil change when they were using Kendall. The disqualifier for me was the generic, no name, jobber filter they used on it. Plus the oil color turned dark quickly which is kind of common when using el cheapo filters. At the Ford Quicklane they use an MC filter and the color stays a nice honey color all the way through. Not that color is the be all, end all but I'd rather have honey color vesus black as midnight oil.

The Pit Crew oil change at Walmart I think is better since they use a decent Fram filter with a higher efficiency rating for around $18. Plus check the fine print with the above offer, says something about a $3 oil filter recycling fee. Plus Walmart TLE even checks the oil level before doing the oil change to include on the inspection report.

Correct..... I never had very good satisfaction with Firestone Service Centers

I'd pay money to see someone get out of there for less than $20 with this coupon.

Good price for a decent oil even with a jobber oil filter.
Well worth the money for those who don't care to get under their cars.
Even for those who do, there's no shame in having a change done now for cheap to tide them over until the return of warmer weather.
I've done a number of winter oil changes and they're generally not much fun. I try to plan around needing them.
I am getting older, though.
