I found this yesterday at Advance Auto Parts.

$1.95 per 5 quart jug of Castrol GTX 20W50.

I have some oil burning lawn and garden equipment that can use this oil. I can also see myself using this oil to spray under the cars for use on salt roads if anything.

I wonder if this clearance is nationwide or local. AAP in Laconia, NH store.

Merry Christmas

That was my go-to oil in my 1977 Yamaha 650.

It’s nationwide. My local AAP stores last month cleared out all the name brand 20W-50. AZ is clearing out their 10W-40 and 20W-50.

I can mix it (thin it out) with the cheapest 0W-20 I can find and use it for a number of things.

X2. Maybe get a jug of GTX from Walmart in 5w20 and blend to whatever spec you need at a few bucks a quart final cost.

Hmm, not bad for most motorcycles.
May stop by and see if they have any. My brother likes xw-50 oils for his Harley 883, but not sure if he would use conventional, he tends to stick with synthetic, but for $2 for 5 qts, he may. I may also buy one for me even though I have 6 gallons of Peak 15w-40 for my bike.

it's currently 8.95 at my local AAP - still a good deal - i might check a few others and see what they have it for. I got a great deal on Valvoline Premium blue for 2.65 a gallon a few months ago - same kind of deal. I bought a bunch.

SCORE. $1.35 a jug in Indy. Grabbed all they had, 5 jugs for $7.22 out the door. Looks like the '47 Ford Tractor will be running on this stuff for a while. Thanks for the tip!

Did you have them price check it at the register? It was regular price marked at my store. Had to ring it up to see the "inner circle" price.

That's Molasses, turn the bottle upside down into the fill hole and let it overnight, should be good by morning.
