I just grabbed a set for the business toolbox. Perfect for what I need. It was marked at $6.88 rang up at $3.88. They open at 6:00 I was there at 6:05 with about 2 other customers, I love shopping that way. Thanks for posting!

Well worth the money, my only regret is I only bought one set. I see another 0600 run tomorrow.......

Picked up my order and went looking around. In the gift section up front I saw they have a set of screwdrivers also for $3.88. I was thinking this deal was a price mistake online but apparently not!

A little bummed out about this. Closest HD (which isn't too far) showed 33 of these sets in stock, so figured I'd check them out. Got there and based on location listing started looking in seasonal floor area items. Nada, zip, zero to be found I that area or elsewhere in the store. After some waiting with help of the supposed "main guy" he couldn't find any checking several places including look up at the overhead bins. He ended up "zero-ing" out the listing.

Not the first time this has happened to me at this HD store. Had a 3 pack Vice Grip set as Christmas gift I wanted check out, showed plenty in stock supposed to be in the exact same seasonal area. When I got there, none in that area, found one in the normal tool selling area. On a later visit the sets did show up in the seasonal area. Sold out yesterday.

So, either they have 33 sets they couldn't/can't find in the store, or their inventory listing system is wayyy off. Either way, I won't trust inventory listing again at this HD store.

Stopped at Home Depot yesterday and got one of the plier sets. I asked an employee where they were and he walked me to the front of the store where they have an area with different tools and stuff in cardboard box displays. He found the pliers but they were marked $11.97 and he said he didn't know anything about a sales price.

I took one up to the self check out and it rang up at $3.88. I saw the post later last night about screwdrivers also being $3.88 so went back today. Again, the screwdrivers were not showing a sales price and were marked at $6.88 I believe. I picked up 2 sets and another pliers set and they all rang up at $3.88.

Thanks for the post about the screwdrivers and the pliers. Perfect for a stocking stuffer for my son and for my junk yard tool box.
