Fire Extinguishers

The modern "clean agent" extinguishers if you can afford them. Highly effective, and far less corrosive if you can't immediately clean it up.

Do you have special circumstances? Call it a day and get a 10lb ABC rated extinguisher from wally world. One for the kitchen and garage. Do you have an upstairs? One up there in a good location too.

I would stay away from the cheapies. I like the all metal Amerex ones. Never had to use one but I bet it will work if I need it.

At least ONE somewhere in the home or attached garage, is really needed.

A small 10BC is good for small fires.
A 60 BC is what you run to GO get after the 10BC is empty.

I have NEVER had one fail, and have used several.

The recall doesn't phaze me - use with confidence.

I had 2 old Kidde plastic head 10BC that I sent back and got replaced at zero cost, one of them was over 30 yrs old.
