I'm planning on doing an oil change on my truck with the updated Chrysler 4.7 (22mm threads). It looks like my filter is the XG2, but so far my search for a longer version with the same threads and gasket diameter has been fruitless. Most references are to the previous version of the 4.7 which has a different thread. In fact, I think I found a conversation on here from 2011 or 2012 saying XG2 is all we get. Has that changed since then?

XG10575 is a longer filter, but smaller diameter, so probably a wash as far as overall internal size.

I think the XG2 is about the biggest you get.
It is the same filter I use on my F150.
I looked for a bit, but I don't have a lot of extra space, so I did not spend a lot of time looking, but the little I did I never found one.

It is not a bad size filter overall though.
It is not like some of these vehicles that seem to have a thimble sized filter on a large motor (I am looking at you GM).

Great points blupupher.
That XG-2 is a very good sized oil filter indeed. I ran that on my Ford Fusion. Way bigger than the 7317 I have on my Nissan Altima 3.5.
