My wife has a 2006 Toyota Rav4 when I met her, not sure which engine it was, just the base 4 cyl. Not long after I met her, around 140 to 150k on car she noticed the oil light coming on. That's when I started monitoring it. That thing used just over 1 qt oil per 1k and it was getting worse. I like Toyota's but that engine was not a winner.
