Tailgate has been rattling for a while. Finally determined it was the tailgate hinge area? (see pic) I lifted up the tailgate on passenger side and it has quite a bit of play, other side is tight. Here is a pic of the Roller/Hinge? Do I have to get that at the dealer? Or should I?
I don't mind paying a bit extra if you think it would be worth it.

Anyway I could find the part number?

You don't say what the verhicle is?? Looks like the talegate of a Chevy.

The rattle is a factory feature ;-)

Press a section of thin walled plastic pipe over the boss of the roller.

It's kinda hard to tell by the pic but Part #66110F might be the part you need...

I think that is it. This one on ebay doesn't have the F at the end of the part number?

Thoughts?

ebay Part

Remove your tailgate and see what's smashed out of specification. This might be something you could hammer/ pliers back in place, or shim with strips of an old milk carton, etc.

The one you show on ebay looks like the left side, the pic you originally posted looks like the right side... shrug

The hinge is usually on the left side, and on the right side is usually a rubber or plastic bushing it sits in.
