clunky, 24-ish tooth action. But they go up to 7/8" or 21mm!

There are better ones... most are better. But this is a cheap way to get into the bigger sizes.

I have a set of these in some other clunky brand, and they are among my least used tools. Actually, I've been meaning to take them out of my tool chest drawer and dump them in my rarely-used-tool bin.

On the other hand, my 72-tooth Gearwrench combination open end/ratcheting wrenches are among my most used tools. They weren't $12/set, though.

Screw those cheap sets.
The metric set is missing in between sizes such as the very popular 15MM.

Looks like the same set I bought 40 years ago at a roving tool show at a gymnasium or an Armory by a HF clone company. They are very clunky and I seldom use them. I use them when I need an offset wrench. I may use them once every 5 to 10 years because I hate them so much. I also have a set of metric GearWrench. I love them they are so smooth. I wouldn't mind getting a set of SAE but I don't want to spend the money.

Are there any 21mm fasteners that won't break those? How many 8mm fasteners are accessible with a 15 swing arc? Also Lowe's is requiring you to keep your receipt for hand tool warranty now.

I always saw tools such as those used by carpenter types, not auto mechanics.

The 9/16" is THE ONE. It fits 3/8" lag and 3/8-16 "swing set hardware".

That's no problem. Just sign up for the My Lowe's account which is NOT the credit card. You can enter your receipt number and some other information on line, and the account keeps track of all of your purchases. Or when you check out, give them your account number or even phone number, and they can ring it up with the purchase being recorded to your account.

No need for any paper receipt keeping. Been using this for several years now and have never had a problem with any warranty or returns. They just look the product up in my purchase history and give me the credit or the replacement.

Heck I have a set of those in Snap-on that I won. They have never been used either.

I have a 4 way, 8-10mm and 12-13 mm. It is a roadside find from Auto Zone. The smaller of a 2 wrench set. It has surprised me and depressed me at times. The trouble with gear wrenches is that they need more room around what they are working on. 24 teeth and a limited swing is a glorified open end. Sight unseen, save the money for a better tool.

Voluntarily subjecting yourself to even more tracking by giant corporations is a BIG problem, actually.

It keeps track of all my receipts so I don't have to...

So they know I bought some Christmas lights and a 64 pack of Rayovac batteries. What's the issue? What are they tracking? A phone number that doesn't exist and a throwaway email account I made for exactly this type of stuff?
