They sell Klotz at a gas station near my house. I was looking at the display the other day and it seemed like none of it had any specifications or certifications. What is their marketing angle?

klotz has excellent 2 stroke lubricants..with varying levels of castor added or synthetic. its all i run and i have alot of two stroke stuff. their other lubes are good quality as well..

whats their angle? probably to make top level products

for the record..the castor candle is so-so

I just leave open cups of Marvel Mystery oil around the house.

That's too bad.

i cannot recommend super techniplate as a good oil as i have seen it cause stuck rings.
but i can say the klotz candle smells awesome. i prefer the original techniplate or R50.

It is better than another product? How would you know?

I know of no other motor oil scented candles. These are the best, by default.

Well that is true. Next time I'm at that station I should run in and see if they sell them.

It is also makes a great aftershave, or rinse after brushing your teeth.

Maybe they used it ...

I ran Klotz back in the day in early 2-stroke desert bikes. But, switched up to Full Bore and never looked back. Still have one can

These oils were all tested by Dirt Bike magazine back in the day. Full Bore ran 10* cooler head temps and had a appreciably thicker residual film on the bearings when torn down

As luck would have it, I have never seized a 2-stroke on Full Bore. Other oils, I can't say that about. Maybe just luck (?), but I consider that a strong statement.

However, Full Bore went out of circulation sometime before 1990 ...
