I went to my Daughter and son in laws house for Thanksgiving.
And what did I see?
the same Samsung T.V. model as mine but a 65" I have a 55.
the same Samsung sound bar as mine but 1 model better.
Have to admit it was a nice setup.

I just bought the Samsung 58" at Walmart over the weekend. It replaced a 10 year old Samsung large screen-purchased at CostCo for $2,600.00 back then. It finally gave out after ten years.

We really like it.

That means you have to step up your game and go with a 75" next year and a 7.2 surround sound system. Or you could start low and do a 5.1 system for now. I think I got a system 15 years ago and it's still working, the sub woofer died after about 12 years but I just got another one. Surround sound makes even bad movies sound good.

It's too bad Costco got rid of their lifetime warranty, in theory you could have still brought it back!

Size does not matter. The quality of most programming is just not worth watching. Which is why I'm here. Even the most trivial stuff here is better than 99% of what's on TV ...

Amen … I have terrestrial TV at the camp and that’s even more depressing …

We only have a 26inch TV. We have no cable or sattelite service, we only watch DVD/Blu-Ray movies on it.

Size . Take into consideration your viewing distance to the tv. You can get to big a set.
