No problems that I am aware of as I do it all the time.

I use Mobil 1 75w90 LSD gear oil in my non LSD Firebird FORMULA in my sig and have also used it in my wife's previous Lexus AWD TC & Diff(non LSD).

I bought a gallon of PEAK 80w90 LSD gear oil from Pep Boys for around $15/gal. I believe this was their regular price. IDK if PEAK has a 80w140 LSD.

No problem, all it means is that the oil contains the friction modifier to make LS work properly. Won't hurt anything to have the friction modifier if you don't have LS.

It probably wont cause a problem but generally the FM's required for LS applications tend to detract from oxidation and seal performance.

I found 2 quarts of the Valvoline ( which I linked to ) that do not say limited slip . At AAP + 20% online discount . :)

Thanks , :)
