Can you believe that the auto parts stores sell this same oil for $30+! And, people actually buy it from there. They just can't get over the fact that WM can save them some money. shocked2

I'd be very amused if O'Reilly's got burglarized and somebody stole all the oil.

Yes it appears they have moved their prices down to match the Castrol Magnetic prices at 19.88

A couple of weeks back, I scored some Magnatec GTX syn for $17.88. I havenít used Castrol in quite a while. I do recall it seemed to be a little thicker than Valvoline. Of course, that was back in the 10W30 conventional days.

Most people who buy oil in those places get the $20-25 oil and filter special. There are a few who pay full price. Theyíre usually the ones with luxury cars, who donít care about paying $20 more.

Amazon is matching Walmart's Castrol Edge prices right now on 5 quart containers of various weights. If you are a registered Amazon business user the price is an even lower $17.40/5 quart jug.

I already have about 40 jugs of motor oil, so I gotta pass smile.

Looks like the Edge HM is the same price as well. Im tempted to try Castrol for a bit. Give them a shot.

I'm currently using Castrol Magnatec 5W30 in my engine and it runs very quiet. I think I might have to just settle with Magnatec instead of using different brands at each OCI.
But, every time I go to WM the shelf is empty of ANY Magnatec.
