Forgive me...second thread I've started tonight! I swear I'm not a spammer. LOL
Discovered a leaky axle seal where the driver's CV goes into the front diff on my Liberty tonight. Rockauto shows National, Timkin, Mopar and Omix Ada. Any to avoid? I can also get the National one locally which I like, but I'll order if need be.

Thanks.

National or Timkin. Mopar obviously, but I am sure it's $$$.

No experience with Omix, but they come across as being 1 step above Dorman and A1 CarDone.

National, Timken or SKF are all well known and good quality name brands.
The Mopar one is likely one of the 3 name brands in a Mopar box.

Never heard of or used the Omix Ada.

I'll get the National then...thanks!

Omix Ada is a Mopar thing...they take over a Mopar part # when Chrysler no longer wants to sell it. But sometimes they also rebox dorman quality stuff, so it's a gamble if it's an OEM part or not.

Ck the vent for the front axle before performing and seal repairs. if its plugged any seal you install will be a waste of time. also look closely at the sealing surface of cv shaft where the seal rides. it may have a groove worn into it. some emery cloth will clean that up
