seen similar before. love it.

and since i am the type that names his cars,(and sometimes friends cars), I have a few steadfast naming rules.
1) any/all Ford Explorers shall be named "Dora"
2) All Nissans shall be Named Liam.( bonus points if said vehicle "possesses a certain set of skills." what ever they may be.)

I was telling this to a friend with a real hankering for a Juke, he got exchited that he could call it "Qui-Gon Juke"

Why not, My Boss Calls his Jeep Commander "Riker"...

Good one!

I only named my first car, a 1970 Grand Prix: The Great Black Shark.

It was inspired by the Great Red Shark from Hunter S. Thompson's book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

The schooner /Big ship ('97 crysler concorde). because it was as big as a cruise ship
Squirrel ('95 mercury mystique) - because of beige color
The Little One ('95 hyundai accent hatchback) - because it was tiny. awesome turning radius
Bluey ('08 yaris) because it's blue
red cherry ('04 hyundai elantra) because it was red
mazda ('13 mazda5). because it's a mazda

I must be old because I wouldn't consider a 1997 Chrysler Concorde a big car. An Imperial in 1963, yes but not a Concorde.

But I'm also not very creative at naming cars, it's usually just the color. Unless I have two of the same color, then it's model or year and color. Lol

I had a 1990 ford tampon. Wanted to attach a large cotton rope to the rear bumper and dump a bucket of red paint on it, but it went tango uniform before I could find the rope and live out the dream. Oh the lulz

In your deployments, have you been to Europe?

Now imagine coming from there, and seeing the big american cars.... Of course is as big as a ship....
(also it holds the personal record: a BIG garden chair (big enough for 2 people) in the back seat... I just open the door, and push it on it's side...)

I wish i could say I was more creative, aside from the 2 rules i listed earlier, but my vehicle names normally just come to me. no thought behind them.
1) 87 Olds 98 - "the Oldsmobile", in the vain of where i would say to my buddy "Quick Ryan, To the Oldsmobile!"
2) Y2k Hyundai Sonata - "Bob"
3) 05 Dodge Neon - "Toothless" front end reminded me of the Dragon of the same name from "How to train your Dragon"
4) 09 Mercury Sable - "Kenny" The only one so far with a Story:
named it after one of my Customers, Really nice older fellow that was always going back & forth(in a super friendly way) with one of my co-workers(former neighbors)about Dodge & Ford things.(he retired from Ford, her Hubby is the head Mechanic at the local dodge dealer) unbeknownst to me, He Passed away, right about the time I Sold my Dodge, and bought the Mercury...

I had a 2000 Dodge Ram Van Wagon with the area below the lower belt line painted all in black.

Due to its black and white appearance, and it being a full size extended van that resembled the "Bang Bus", it came to be called the "Porno Panda".

I can't even remember what I actually named it. Porno Panda just stuck .
