Laying Longevity aside:

Trying to discern what the difference in the formulations between these two product lines.

MSDS on M1 EP 5w-30 looks like some PAO / Group III

MSDS on M1 0w-30 looks like some PAO / GTL / Group III
[ note can only find the MSDS on M1 0W-30 ]
[ cant find on M1 0W-30 "AFE" ]
Thinking the 0W-30 MSDS must be for the AFE as there is only one 0W-30 Mobile makes, correct?

(1.) Any interesting differences between them of interest anyone has gleaned (AFE VS EP)?

(2.) Anyone find the MSDS on AFE 0W-30

I always thought AFE looked better on paper, but, that's just me. I'd use it first if it came down to those two choices. It appears to have stronger base stocks.

The nominal phosphorus/zinc levels of both 0W-20 AFE and 0W-30 AFE are 650/750 PPM. EP 0W-20 is the same but EP 5W-30 is 800/900 PPM.

xOM HAD SOME "SECRET" GOOD OILS FOR A WHILE BUT NONE SINCE THEY HAVE MOVED INTO THE ERA OF VISOM. MAYBE SOME GOOD STUFF WILL RETURN IN THE ERA OF "CHEAP" GTL PARAFFINS.

iN THE PAST 10W30HM AND M1 RACING 4T WERE KILLER IN THE POA/PAO/AN BASESTOCK ERAS..

DANG STUCK CAPSLOCK AGAIN!

Sorry. Not shouting. Yet.
