My parents called me up last night saying they need an oil change on their Sienna this weekend, it was last changed in May with MaxLife and a FL910S.

I'm gonna jump off my insistence on OEM filters(I get them for the same price as aftermarket) or Motorcraft FL400S/FL910S and use a FU XG3614. I think the FU bandwagon here persuaded me. Granted, I do use Tough Guards as well if I can't make it to the dealer.

There might be a dissection of a FL910 as well.

Denso filters are made in China, and Motorcraft is Purolator. Nothing wrong with using a better oil filter

Oh, I know about Purolator. All the Toyota OEM filters I've been using were made in Thailand.

Given whatever OCI they use, maybe you can 2x or 3x the filter. It'd make it easier/ cleaner on you in the future.

Honestly, if you don't, you might as well buy an Extra Guard. The recent PH3614's here have looked decent.

The plan is to run the XG3614 for 2 OCIs. I've marked the filter and made a note of the date/mileage of the install.

Or, you can use the XG3614 for 1 OCI and replace it at the next OCI.

They are fine for conspiracy theory believers.
