Heads up & YMMV per area, I'm in So Maine:

Spectrum/ Time Warner/ Charter has 30 MBps internet for $15/ mo they call "internet assist". You need to have someone on free school lunch/ SSI to get it but someone could find it useful.

Since they don't advertise it, I feel a moral obligation to do so.

Nice find. But like you said its not advertised. And on the site for it (searching for it), It says new customers only.

Since they took over Time Warner, they took away all choices for internet.

The base speed went to 100/10 for $64.99, and they have a high dollar 300/30 package.

The average consumer does not need 100 down for anything.

Spectrum is gouging.

Breast cancer awareness?

Our very local cable company has 3/1 Mbps (yes, as slow as DSL) for $20 per month. They don't advertise it but they will sell it to anyone, no poverty qualification.

Why if folks pay the higher rates? I am guessing you don't work in a for profit scenario?
