Good morning and Happy Sunday BITOGERS. This filter and some GTX Ultra Clean 5w30 was off a friends 2015 Hyundai Elantra hatchback. Almost 70k on car. I put some QSUD 10w30 from “the stash” and a Kia/Hyundai OEM Filter in and on.

Thanks for yet another great c&p...nothing to report as usual from this filter! Just wondering though, why 10w30 oil now that we’re getting into winter? It’s been in the teens here at night all ready.

He chose the grade of oil and I use 10w30 in the Bonneville of mine without issue. Call me backwards but
10w30 has a place still

Yes I really like 10w-30 in my car in the spring/summer OIC.

Looks good at 5k miles. NPS a decent jobber/value tier filter when used for it's intended use interval, this no exception. And this application uses separate dome bypass, a plus imo.

Thanks for c&p.
