Just a quick question when you polish with a DA Polisher or even by hand do you dampen your foam first or apply a light mist to the surface of do you just apply the polish to the foam then proceed as I have seen both methods used so I am a little curious.

A small spray of QD onto the pad before the polish can help reduce startup friction.

I used to but now I just put a dab of polish on and go. Pad gets wet enough anyway.

That's what I do.

I also give a good mist of quick detail spray first and wipe around with my hand.

Using a mist of Detailer Spray sounds like a good plan. That is the direction I will choose when I do my upcoming polish and shine.
