First oil change on a new engine. Winter is now aproaching. I have 2 5qt bottles of 5w30 PUP on my shelf ready to use... but now I'm thinking M1 afe 0w30...or do I look at a 50/50 0w20 0w40 M1 blend?

Vehicle Is 2018 3.5 Ecoboost 5w30 spec

Either one. Run one brand now and the other brand next time. Both are excellent oils. Where are you in Canada?

PUP 5W-30 is a fantastic oil and you have it on-hand. Seems like a no-brainer! Give the AFE a try when you run out of PUP.

I'd lean towards the 0W-30 for winter but both are excellent oils and since you already have the PUP on hand I would probably just go ahead and use it.

Don't mix the M1 20/30 grades AFE and 0w-40....they have completely different add packs. The PUP is fairly close to M1 0w-40.

M1 0-30 will perform very well year round in any temps.

Don't you want a synthetic in a TT V6?
Not a VM laden semi?

AFE has a good slug of PAO.
