Apologies if it has been pointed out elsewhere or this isn't the right section for "deal" type discussions, but Walmart maybe had a stroke on their AP pricing:

Pretty much priced $2 above EP and $5 above AFE. Maybe the lack of people buying it triggered Walmart's pricing algorithms to go nuts to move product? Worked for me, ordered 5x to set me on oil for the next couple years.

If its available in store you might want to check it out in person. All of the AP bottles near me had a 10.00 Walmart Gift Card offer stuck to them. Not sure if maybe that expired and is why they dropped the 10.00 directly off? Or if you could still get the gift card PLUS the 30.00 price, that would be pretty crazy.

They don't look like they're having any real promotions right now besides a stupid basketball.

I will give it a look after work to see though. $20 for 5 Qts of any oil is pretty much a good deal, let alone a top shelf like AP.

Thats a great price,I would jump on it if you are on the fence about using it.

So I checked in store, the Gift Card offer is expired so even if you find a jug with it attached like I did it's worthless.

In store pricing was still $40.

The local AAP cut their price on this, too. $11.99 for the quart bottles, $49.99 for the 5 quart jugs. What a deal! crazy

Mobil I 0W-20 AFE was up to about $25.50 for five quart jug at our Walmart this past week. Glad I purchased that oil in the fall when is was selling for about $22.50.
