Try search for dielectric grease at the auto parts store, should work as well as silicone grease.

Only readily available rubber-compatible grease in Taiwan is ear-wax.

And there isn't very much of that.

What about CV joint boots? They don't seem to have silicon grease in them. Is that planned obsolescence?

liquid wrench dielectric anti-seize grease is silicone based # L803 low's has it in the lawn mower section
