Surefire makes a quality product but I've always thought Streamlight makes great products for a more reasonable price. Id rather spend my money on optics or better yet, ammo.

Surefire has several new lights they are fixing to release. They are revamping quite a lot of their line, and introducing brighter lights. Also bringing back the much beloved 2 stage tail cap from the executive series. A 1500 lumen handheld light, and a 1200 lumen pistol light. And a 800 lumen tactical light called the Tactition. Im a huge Surefire fan so its exciting to see them bring out some new stuff (I own at least $1000 worth of Surefire stuff, maybe $2000 worth).

Honestly I would pass on the 6PX Pro, as its literally one of their worst lights. I honestly value that light at $35. I do own it and dont really care for it. I leave it in my truck glove box.

The $50 off "sale" is ploy to get you to buy one of their older lights before they release their new stuff.

Every Monday they are releasing a new light, which you can see on this website.

I actually bought a 6PX Pro recently when Woot had them on sale.

It's not a bad light, but Streamlight probably makes something very comparable and for $20 less. Surefire is big on its name and marketing in magazines.

After buying Surefires over a couple years for glove box lights and to use on my fire helmet I actually went with a Polytac on my AR15 build. Doesn't have the fine finish of SF but sure seems stout enough, performs great and you couldn't ask for a better price.
